We support those receiving services through Home and Community Based (HCBS) Long Term Services and Supports Medicaid Waivers. The Residential Program serves individuals in whichever setting is best suited to their needs, living independently, with family members, or in a state-qualified Host Home.

Host Home Overview: In a Host Home, the client lives as part of the family of the Host Home Provider and receives assistance from that provider and from Spectrum on a routine basis. Host Home Providers are responsible for 24/7 care of their clients and assistance in daily activities.
Job Functions:
- Welcome this individual into your home and provide a consistent and warm environment for them to thrive and maintain the highest level of independence possible.
- Assist individuals to learn independent living skills such as budgeting, cooking, cleaning, laundry, personal hygiene, etc.
- Some individuals might have higher support needs based on their level of independence. Duties might include full hands-on assistance with bathing, mobility, toileting, eating, etc.
- Transportation to and from all appointments, medical and otherwise (alternative options could be available when individuals need additional support with wheelchairs).
- Complete daily and monthly goals and medication tracking.
- Provide at least 3 nutritious meals a day.
- Assist with maintaining individual's finances, tracking purchases, balancing monthly expenses, producing receipts and ledgers for monthly audit.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- At least 21 years of age.
- Able to pass a criminal and Adult Protective Services background check.
- Ability to remain calm, dependable, and attentive in a home environment requiring continuous supervision.
- Ability to follow individualized care plans and agency protocols.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must present either home or renter's insurance.
- Able to obtain General Liability Insurance once client is placed in the home.
- Possess a valid Colorado driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record (preferred).
- Maintain CPR/First Aid and QMAP (Medication Administration) Certifications.
- Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and valid vehicle insurance.
Physical Requirements:
Able to provide all elements of hands-on care for the client’s individual needs.
Bend, sit, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Additional Information:
- Host Home Providers receive a negotiatied daily rate for care of the individual(s) in their home, as well as additional room and board payments. These rates are based on the individual's level of care required.
- Host Home Providers are required to have at least two (2) respite providers to be screened and trained on the individual information for those in their care.
- All adults (not individuals receiving services) who reside in the home, whether or not they are providing services, must also pass a criminal background check.
